The footage began at the top of a mountain which really got across how ambitious in scale the Buried Memory update will be.
Season 3 of Crystal Conflict will begin in 6.2Īfter revealing the various changes in the FFXIV Live Letter from the Producer, Yoshi P showed us some new gameplay footage from the Island Sanctuary. Adjustments to the order of some Return to Ivalice quests. Glamor dresser capacity expanded from 400 to 800. Rare materials added to aetherial reductions performed by miners, botanists, and fishers. 
A combo sequence display will be added to the Actions list. New high-IL crafted gear will be added. A new Tombstone will also be introduced known as Causality. A graphics update is planned for update 7.0, so Buried Memory 6.2 will start laying the groundwork for this update. Changes will be made to Adventurer Plates and Portraits and confirmed that those created during the Beta won’t be wiped by update 6.2. Buried Memory 6.2 will update PvP battles, character jobs, the Island Sanctuary, Variant Dungeons, and Criterion Dungeons. The Criterion Dungeon content will feature two options of varying difficulties, each with its own unique set of rules and characteristics. Another Path: Criterion Dungeons – High-difficulty four-player content, which features a visually similar area to the Variant Dungeons, but will have a set route. Dungeons will feature branching routes, which change depending on player action within the dungeon. New “Variant Dungeons” Battle Content – Previously called “Criterion Dungeons,” players can enjoy this new variable-difficulty dungeon content-beginning with Sil’dihn Subterrane-designed for between 1-4 players, with the difficulty of enemies scaling depending on party size. New Tribal Quests: Omicron – Disciples of the Land-focused quests. New Weapon Enhancement Quests – Players can obtain and enhance Manderville Weapons throughout the Patch 6.x series, which will unlock through the Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures questline. 
Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures continue in Patch 6.25.Miscellaneous Updates – Additional content including job adjustments for both PvE and PvP, updates to Adventurer Plates, Glamour Dresser expansion from 400 to 800 slots, and more.Additionally, details were also shared about what content will be coming at a slightly later date, as part of Patch 6.25:.
